Location and Access
Royal Swiss City sits on Jaranwala Road, in Mouza Tariddewala, Tehsil Sharaqpur, in Sheikhupura District. That places it just past Lahore's built up edge. RUDA's own records put the site at roughly 31.5095 degrees north and 74.1611 degrees east.
This is inside a wider stretch of land known as the Ravi River Development Zone. Several other schemes have launched in the same corridor. New Metro City Ravi is one. Zam Zam City is another. But Royal Swiss is not inside Lahore's current built up area. Think of it as a growth corridor purchase, not a finished neighbourhood. Set your expectations with that in mind.
The scheme sits on Main Jaranwala Road, which people also call Sharaqpur Road. RUDA records the location as Jaranwala Road, Mouza Tariddewala, Tehsil Sharaqpur, District Sheikhupura. If a dealer says Sharaqpur Road and another says Jaranwala Road, they mean the same road.

The schematic is useful in one way the Google map is not. It shows how the roads relate to each other: the scheme sits on Sharaqpur Road, SL-4 Ring Road passes to the west, the M-3 Motorway runs across the west side, Faizpur Interchange and the M-2 Motorway lie to the north east, and the Ravi River runs diagonally to the south east. Thokar Niaz Baig appears to the south as a familiar landmark for Lahore drivers.
Access Routes
-
Lahore Ring Road (SL4)
The ring road's Sharaqpur side gives the fastest route back toward central Lahore and the airport.
-
M2 Motorway
Runs north toward Sheikhupura and on to Islamabad.
-
M3 Motorway
Runs east toward Faisalabad. Useful if you are commuting or investing from that side of Punjab.
-
Lahore, Sharaqpur Road
The direct surface road most agents use to reach the site gate.
-
Faizpur Interchange
The nearest interchange onto the motorway network.
We have not personally timed the drive from central Lahore. Treat any drive time you see quoted as a rough guess, not a fact. Traffic on the Sharaqpur side of the ring road changes a lot between a weekday morning and a weekend afternoon. The only honest way to know your own commute time is to drive it yourself, at the hour you would actually be travelling.
Here is what we can confirm. Four named routes already exist as built roads today. The ring road. Both motorways. The direct Sharaqpur road. That matters, because many schemes on Lahore's edge promise access roads that are still years from being built. Here, the roads are not the part still waiting to happen.
Royal Swiss City on the Map
Royal Swiss City, Ravi River Development Zone, Lahore. Coordinates approximately 31.5095, 74.1611, as recorded in public sources.
Getting to the Site: Two Different Starting Points
Google Maps shows listings for Royal Swiss City, but they point to the developer's sales office in DHA Phase 8, Lahore, not to the building site. If you follow a route to the first result, you may arrive at the office. The site itself is on Main Jaranwala Road, also called Sharaqpur Road, in Mouza Tariddewala, Tehsil Sharaqpur. The map above uses the coordinates 31.5095, 74.1611, which are approximate. Ask the sales team for a site visit and confirm the pickup point or exact pin before you leave.
How Far Is It From Central Lahore?
Property Finders, a dealer site, estimates the straight line distance from central Lahore points such as Mall Road, Gulberg and the airport at about 17 to 24 kilometres, with drive times of roughly 40 to 65 minutes depending on the starting point and traffic. They describe these as estimates, not measured routes, and so do we. Drive times on Lahore's northern edge change a lot between a weekday morning and a weekend afternoon. Test your own route at the hour you would actually travel.
What Is Around the Site
Dealer sources list a cluster of other schemes in the same belt, including Lahore Garden, Al Rehman Garden Phase 2, Adams Housing Lahore, Shadman Enclave, Lahore Future City, New Metro City Lahore, New City Paradise, Park View City and Lahore Modern City. We have not verified the approval or progress of each, and a crowded belt is not proof of quality. It does mean the corridor is attracting land buyers and developers, and it means you should check each neighbour's approval stage on RUDA's or the LDA's lists before comparing prices.
Why Access Roads Matter at This Stage
Many new schemes promise roads that are years from being built. Here, the corridor roads named on this page already exist as public roads, and the scheme sits on one of them. What does not yet exist is the internal road network, which the developer is still to build after Technical Approval. A public road at the gate is a good sign. A graded internal road to your block is what you need before you build.
A Site Visit Checklist
- Ask the sales office for a site visit in advance and for the exact pin of the starting point.
- Note the condition of Main Jaranwala Road near the entrance, and any construction of the gate or boundary wall.
- Check how far the nearest petrol station, clinic and shop are, since that is your daily life until the scheme builds its own.
- Check mobile signal, which varies a lot on the edge of the city.
- Take dated photos, and compare them on a later visit to see real progress.
- Ask to see the block your plot will be in, not only the model or the entrance.
Who This Location Suits
The location suits buyers who are comfortable with a commute of an hour or more at peak times, who plan to hold the plot for several years, or who plan to build later as the surrounding belt fills in. It suits less well anyone who needs to be near central Lahore for daily work on the day they move in. The right test is simple. Drive the route at the time you would actually use it, and decide if you could live with that trip every day.
Nearby Schemes in the Same Corridor
Royal Swiss sits inside a corridor where several other schemes have launched around the same time. Most of them fall under RUDA rather than the LDA. Knowing your neighbours helps you judge how fast the area is really filling in. We cover that comparison in more depth on the blog.
Other property research sources report a wider cluster of schemes in the surrounding area, including Lahore Garden, Al Rehman Garden Phase 2, Adams Housing Lahore, Shadman Enclave, Lahore Future City, and New Metro City Lahore, alongside more established names like New City Paradise and Park View City Lahore. We have not independently verified every name in that list against a primary source the way we have for Royal Swiss itself, so treat it as a starting point for your own research into the corridor, not a confirmed roster.
A Few More Practical Notes
- The Ravi River itself runs close to this corridor, which is part of why RUDA was created in the first place, to plan development along the riverbank in a controlled way rather than leaving it to unplanned growth.
- If you are visiting the site in person, plan your trip during daylight hours. Roadside signage in newer corridors like this one can be limited, and a dealer escort or a saved map pin makes the first visit much easier.
- Public transport does not yet reach this corridor in a meaningful way. For now, a private car or a hired ride is the only practical way to visit.
